Paul and the Speaker

In Parliament

You can access my voting record here

I continue to make the case for Restorative Justice (RJ) to put victims at the heart of the criminal justice system. I met the Prisons Minister, Lord Timpson, and introduced him to the charity Why Me?, to assist him in addressing some of the practical issues in embedding RJ within our justice system. I also quizzed the Lord Chancellor in the Commons on her plans to promote RJ.

On international affairs, I have spoken in Parliament about the need for action on re-engaging with Europe, modern slavery, Hong Kong repression, persecution of the Ahmadiyya community in Pakistan, and sanctioning Sri Lankan War criminals.

You can read more below about my role as Transport Spokesperson, my work on the Home Affairs Committee, and the various All Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) I'm involved with.
